The ski
resorts of the Hintertux Glacier and the Ski Zillertal 3000 with Eggalm/Rastkogel/Penken with its 67 most modern cable cars and lifts - which are able to transport

passengers per hour - offer absolute fun for skiers and snowboards from
December to April. There is no rest on the Hintertux glacier : It offers
365 days a year dream like pists for skiers and snowboarders.

Glacier
The
mountain station of the "Gefrorene Wand" (double chair lift)
lies at the proud elevation of 3250 m and is the starting point for 89
km of ski-runs, serviced by a total of 20 cable cars and lifts - with
the new ,,Gletscherbus " on the Hintertux glacier (which is the
most modern cable car in Austria!). The snow-machines on the run down to
the Sommerbergalm and the half pipe guarantee fun for skiers and
snowboarders.
Eggalm/Rastkogel
Ski
right to the front dorr - that is the motto of the EGGALM/Lanersbach ski
resort and the Rastkogel lifts make the sun - plateau at the Lämmerbichl
accessible. Easy to intermediate and demanding runs across broad
mountain slopes and through forests. A cable car leads to the top
station of the located at an elevation of 2500 m, provide access to over
30 km of prepared runs. The new snow machine guarantees snow during the
whole winter season. The
double chair lift ,,Eggalm-Nord" with a new improved departure puts
the skiing areas Eggalm/Lanersbach and RASTKOGEL together.
Lifts
in the valley Nightskiing
Two
more T-bars, particularly suited for beginners and children, are located
down in the valley, as well as a babylife and a ski-roundabout for
children. At the Hinteranger ski-lift, in the center of Lanersbach, are
winter festivals, parallel slaloms, ski-shows and contests for snowboarder.
Ski
passes
The
skipasses are valid on all lifts in Tux-with or with our glacier. Up from
the skipass for 4 days, all lifts of the Ziller- or Tux valley can be
used (= Zillertaler Superskipass)

youth : The tariffs for skiers and snowboarders between 15 and 18
years have advantages.

children : Children till 6 do not pay at the lift; up to 14 years
there is a special skipass for children
Sport
facilities
Ski
schools (ski, snowboard, carving and cross-country instruction, guided
ski tours), 18 km of prepared cross-country tracks with guaranteed snow
along the Tux creek in interesting surrounding. Two natural toboggan
runs between 3 and 5 km in lenght and one illuminated toboggan run with a
length of 6 km ; these start at mountain cabins which are open in
winter. Further recreational activities are available at the natural ice
skating rink, the Austrian-style curling rinks, the over 32 km of cleared
winter hiking trails, on the 3 indoor tennis-courts or on the 3 squash
courts or bowling alleys, in the indoor swimming pools. NEW! Adventure
Club Tux with tandem-paragliding, hiking with snow shoes, trekking in a
cave and much more!
Wellness
Saunas
(also finish saunas), steam baths as well as solariums, massage
facilities, beauty farms, bubbling hot springs, outdoor pool and several
indoor-pools in the hotels.
