Home Gastein

The family-owned Moser Hotel had a special role in the history of the town of Bad Hofgastein.  In the 13th century in belonged to rich and powerful families who had mined silver and gold in the Tauer mountains.  They spent their wealth on castle-like buildings that have stood the test of time.  This richly historical hotel is made out of two houses- one 15th and one 16th century – linked by attractive winding passages.  The traditional 80-roomed hotel offers all the comforts of a well-groomed house, but personal touches are much in evidence and family atmosphere pervades.  There is a choice of three restaurants, providing a wide rage of dinning experiences – from the informality of a café to the set-piece dining room.  The swimming pool area is a former gold cellar and here guests can also take advantage of the sauna, thermal bath and relaxation facilities.  The hotel is in the centre of the aristocratic health resort of Bad Hofgastein and offers easy access to the extensive pleasures of the beautiful Gastein Valley with its alpine meadows, panoramic views of mountain peaks, rustic houses and farms.  There are also plenty of opportunities for skiing, tobogganing and sleighing.
