Situated at the foot of the Wild Emperor Mountains and
set in 8,000 square metres of land, AppartHotel Landhof
is located 800 metres from ski lifts and one kilometre
from Ellmau town centre.
The hotels 26 apartments have an Alpine style décor
with white walls and pine wood furnishings and all
include balconies, satellite television, CD players,
in-room safes, telephones and kitchens with microwaves
and coffee and tea making facilities.
Guests can start their day with a hearty breakfast
from the hotel bar (by pre-arrangement the day before)
then take the complimentary ski bus to the Hartkaiser
lift and up in to the Kitzbühler Alps, for 250
kilometres of linked pistes. For the less experienced,
there are nursery slopes a kilometre from the hotel
along with nearby hiking and biking trails.
Later on guests can unwind in the steam bath and
sauna or go for a swim in the heated outdoor swimming
pool with an indoor entrance; there is also a supervised
play area for children. For some well earned après ski,
guest can have a drink in the bar or plan the next days
activities using the hotels high-speed Internet corner.
Guests can also make use of the ski storage and free
parking. The nearby picturesque town of Ellmau offers
numerous restaurants, bars and cafes along with a
leisure centre, bathing lake and the Hartkaiserbahn,
Austrias longest mountain funicular railway. Innsbruck -
Kranebitten Airport is 86 kilometres away with an
approximate driving time to the resort of one hour.
Worgl train station is 18 kilometres from the hotel.
